The
Sundancer
Sail on the Sundancer, one of the finest charter schooners available
in the Caribbean. These trips are for enthusiastic people of all ages
who want to learn the "ropes" of sailing, fishing and snorkeling
in the crystal clear waters of the Bahama Islands or the Florida Keys.
This is a full participation adventure. You have a licensed
captain aboard to instruct you, the crew, on how to handle the boat, work
the sails, and navigate the ship. The captain can help you prepare tasty
exciting meals as well! Our Bare boat charters can be fully packaged for
your church missions and retreats, Scouts, college, families, or just
friends.
The owners, Captains Steve and Barbara Salem, have been sailing charters
since 1974. The spacious, dependable 64' Sundancer is the perfect
boat for sailing and diving.
The Sundancer is based in Nassau in the Bahamas. This gives
the vessel the necessary latitude to enable her to visit the Berry Islands,
which are 20 (mostly uninhabited) islands and dozens of rocks and cays.
Miles of beautiful BEACHES, uncountable spectacular shallow REEFS.
The Sundancer can also take you to the Island of Andros, the
largest of the Bahama Islands (2300 sq mi), but only 20 ft. at it's highest
point (Morgans Bluff). With less than 10k people it's one of the friendliest
islands. Andros boasts the third largest Barrier Reef in the world. Other
attractions include Red Bays baskets weavers, wood carvers, and sponging
center. Uncle Charlie's Blue hole and jumping into the ocean off of Morgans
Bluff is refreshing and exciting.
You
also can go swimming with dolphins in Great Exuma, Bahamas!
