Reaching

Experience the wonders of sailing the open seas, watch dolphins and other varieties of marine life swim by as you sail off into a new morning, a warm afternoon, or a breathtaking sunset aboard the Reaching.

Designed for comfort and safety for serious ocean passage, the 39' Prout Reaching is well suited and equipped for shorter trips to Keys, Bahamas, or Caribbean.

The salon, with sumptuous seating for 8, rich cherry paneling, and teak and holly sole, has a delightful feeling of luxury and spaciousness: open to the starboard galley and large port navigation station; headroom varying to over 6'.

Two staterooms as well as a bridge deck 'playpen' sleep 7 in queen-size comfort.

There are two heads with showers: the entire fore ward port hull dedicated to a spacious head complete with dressing area; the other head en suite to the starboard stateroom.

Recreational equipment includes TV, DVD, sky mate satellite, and superior stereo system, radio and CD speakers with 2 tweeters and a subwoofer.

Ocean passage advantages include freezer, ice maker, washer/dryer, water maker, air conditioning, heating, inverter. The solid fiberglass bridge deck affords comfort, safety, and versatile use.

The Escale Prout is highly maneuverable, spacious, yet compact in design. The cutter rig has the convenience of both genoa and staysail on roller furling. Additionally, there's an asymmetrical spinnaker with a 2speed self-tailing winch. The fully battened mainsail area is 243 square feet and the genoa is 475 square feet.

This is a splendid sailing catamaran with the excellent balance of luxury, top-notch equipment, and safety features desirable for serious adventures.
